Founded in 2018 by Nik Zellner, Kinship Customs was built around a passion for solid timber and antique machinery. Since its inception it has grown to offer an impeccably detailed approach to design, customized to each client; specializing in residential, commercial and retail projects. The core philosophy and driving force behind the business is delivering liveable products for the heart of the home for lifetimes to come – with a well-rounded team of experts, each project is executed from start to finish.

Nik is the head of the Joinery & Furniture Department at Kinship Customs. Nik developed a passion from a young age for the creativity behind developing an idea into something tangible. Forging a reputable business on the Northern Beaches has meant breathing life into the dream of making products for the heart of every home.
Peter is the head of the Metal Spinning Department at Kinship Customs. With a multitude of research and experience, Pete excels in mastering the lost arm form of Metal Spinning; involving a high level of detail, creativity and functionality, every piece is made by hand in true artisan style.
