Kinship Customs is a creative studio building joinery, furniture and objects with personality. We collaborate with architects and designers to create considered spaces and pieces that reflect individuality.
What We Do
We design and build joinery, furniture and objects for lived-in spaces, collaborating early with architects and designers to shape how spaces feel, function and evolve, while creating our own considered pieces in-house.
Custom Joinery
Our approach to joinery is collaborative and process-driven. We work alongside architects and designers from early stages, helping translate ideas into something practical, buildable and resolved - problem-solving along the way to deliver a finished space that reflects the original design intent.
Cabinetry Collection
We design furniture we wish existed - considered pieces with personality, created to reflect who you are and shape how a space feels. Homes shouldn't be generic. They should be a reflection of you.
Brassware
Alongside our joinery and furniture, we create a collection of solid brass and copper objects - including shower roses, tapware and custom fixtures. Designed with the same approach as our furniture, these pieces are considered, functional and built to last. Brass and copper naturally develop a patina over time, allowing each piece to evolve with the space and the people using it.
